I am an experienced B.A.C.P. Accredited Counsellor, and a member of the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors.

My approach to counselling is integrative. I am influenced by the Person-Centred work of Carl Rogers, by the work of Jung and Fromm, and by biographical counselling.

I have been counselling for eleven years with a wide variety of clients, working both long and short term. I am also an experienced telephone counsellor and have worked for an Employee Assistance Programme, a student counselling service and with carers.

I am also a qualified supervisor of counselling.

Before training as a counsellor and gaining an M.A. in Counselling Studies at the University of Nottingham, I worked in teaching, journalism, bookselling and industry.
